Welcome to the Stamford Ferry Study Web Site
The City of Stamford is studying the feasibility of a ferry service from Stamford Harbor to a number of potential locations in the New York City Harbor and on Long Island Sound. The objectives of the Stamford Ferry Feasibility Study are:
- Identify a feasible site, potential destinations and appropriate vessels for ferry service
- Identify the potential users of a ferry service
- Identify improvements to the lands, roads and waterways to support a ferry service
